Levy, Stern & Ford ("LSF") traces its roots back nearly fifty years. Partners Lewis Levy, Adam Stern & Scott Ford are committed to LSF’s tradition of community involvement and support of multi-cultural programs. Founded by Abe F. Levy - an icon in the early days of Los Angeles’ labor relations community - LSF specializes in representing labor unions, employee benefit funds and injured workers. In addition to representing labor unions throughout Southern California and Southern Nevada, LSF is also general counsel for Professional Musicians, Local 47, the International Recording Musicians Association and the Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Musicians Association.
LSF has been involved in numerous decisions of the United States Supreme Court, California State Supreme Court and the National Labor Relations Board which have established precedent in the fields of labor relations, employee benefits and workers’ compensation. Also, LSF alumni include the Hon. Congressman Howard Berman and the Hon. Arleigh M. Woods (the first female African-American appellate court justice appointed to the California Court of Appeal).
LSF is pleased to a part of the Festival and the interaction of musicians from the United States and Japan. We look forward to many years of continued success for the Festival and the Foundation.
